Administrative / biographical background

George E. Harris was a follower of Bronterre O?Brien, a spiritualist and secretary of the editing committee of the radical political paper, ?The Working Man?. A bookseller, with premises off Edgware Road, London, Harris also worked with Marx on the General Council of the First International.
