Diary of John Russell as President of Sion College 1845-46, with historical and other notes on the affairs of the College. John Russell (1786-1863) was Master of the Charterhouse from 1811; prebendary (and afterwards canon residentiary) of Canterbury from 1827; and Rector of St. Botolph without Bishopsgate, London, from 1832. The diary records Sion College business but also transcripts of earlier minutes and other College documents 1622-1845 which Russell made in order to understand College affairs.
