- <p>These properties came to John Whitehall of Pipe Ridware by his marriage to Frances, daughter and sole heiress of William Aston of Park Hall. Whitehall conveyed them to his daughter Anne and her descendants by her husband Francis Ashenhurst. In 1761 they were sold by Edward Ashenhurst to Thomas Evans of Derby.</p>
