Correspondence btween R.L. and R.G. above, who was R.L.'s agent for Brassington estate and who tricked him of some money.

(a) R.L. to R.G. (20 Dec 1817) complaining he has has heard nothing from him for a long time and wishes his affairs settled radpidly.

(b) R.L. to R.G. (6 Dec 1818) again complaining R.G. still has not written and that he now owes R.L. large sum of money and threatening to withdraw loan.

(c) R.G. to R.L. (28 Dec 1818) R.G. postpones reply re above and discusses sale of the Moar.

(d) R.L. to R.G. (6 Jan 1818) in reply to above. R.L. consents to sale of the Moar for £1,800 or less.

(e) R.G. to R.L. (15 Jan 1819) enclosing draft for £51.7s.6d. & promising to answer earlier letters as (b) above when he hears from Mr. Sybrey re purchase of the Moar.

(f) R.G. to R.L. (4 May 1819) replying to (b) pleading he has made many calls upon his money and he will forward further draft to R.L. next month

(g) R.G. to R.L. (1 Oct 1819) re the Moar asking R.L. to consider buying out his share and suggest they meet in Nottm. to discuss it.

(h) R.L. to R.G. in reply to above, agreeing to meet in Nottm.

(i) R.G. to R.L. (20 Oct 1819) again asking R.L. to buy his share of the Moar or give him sufficient title to it and says he has written to Mr. Wylde for his account.

(j) R.L. to R.G. (23 Oct 1819) arranging to meet R.G. in Nottm. when he will discuss purchase of R.G.'s share of the Moar.

(k) Account of R.G. and R.L. showing balance of £901.16s.6d. due to R.L. and endorsed with note that R.L. gave R.G. deeds of Matlock estate so R.G. may make a title to his moiety of the Moor which R.L. is to purchase from him for £600.
