Articles of agreement.
John Jones owed Hugh Noden £1063.15. 0. secured on bond in penalty of £2000 dated 9 November 1676 and also £80.13. 9. for goods.
John Jones in his will charged his property with payment and made his wife Lucy Jones and his eldest son Isaac Jones his executors.
Isaac died before his mother without issue. Lucy made Jacob Jones and her eldest daughter Judith Jones executors but they renounced the executorship and the administration was granted to Hugh Noden as principal creditor of John Jones.
Noden paid £1034.19. 9. to redeem Rodmeadow etc. mortgaged to John Blodwell to secure £700 and costs of a Chancery suit, which he has now after the death of Jacob Jones revived against Richard Muckleston and Martha Jones (who claim some interest in the property) and against John Jones son of the testator John Jones in order to receive the remainder of his debt. Consideration £ 280 paid by Muckleston.
Assignment to Symon Hanmer of all money now owing to Noden from John Jones at the time of his decease not already satisfied, to protect the property from claims of the heir at law and in trust for Muckleston. Appointment of Hanmer as attorney to prosecute Noden's suit in chancery.
Muckleston and Martha Jones quitclaim all rights in the property.
