Vacuum and Blowing Engines (23 items).
Double-acting engine, with 44 inch cylinder, 8 foot stroke, parallel motion.
Coloured original and reverse general view of the engine and blowing cylinder and front view of the engine (the reverse copy has a coloured plan of a house and fields on the back marked "Hog Fecit"), plan of the engine and boilers and regulating vessels and blowing cylinder, plan of the cylinder and boiler tops; reverse general view and plan of the engine house and framing and blowing cylinder and regulating vessels, sections of the engine house, drawings of the cistern, plans above the spring and cylinder beams; reverse plans and sections of the air pump and condenser; working gear - reverse front and side view (also used for drawings FNA Clyde Iron Works and FRR Hill & Co.); catches - reverse drawing; parallel motion - coloured original drawing; plans and sections of the cylinder and piston, cylinder lid and bottom plate - reverse drawings. All these drawings bear letter codes.

For the Lightmoor Co. Lightmoor Iron Works, near Wellington, Shropshire. The List of Engines made at Soho calls the concern Homfray Addenbrooke & Co. Note that the place is frequently spelt "Lightmore". This engine does not appear in the Engine Order Books.
