The Scientific Lodge No. 88 was established in 1762 and met at the Three Tuns, Peas Hill, Cambridge. In 1786 the lodge was erased but in 1791 it was reinstated and named the Scientific Lodge. The lodge now meets at Freemasons' Hall, Bateman Street, Cambridge.
