Marketshire
Marketshire is an earlier name for Pavement and in the 1345 deed is referred to as 'Marketskyre super le Pavement'. The property in Marketshire came into the possession of the Hospital in the late 14th century and was sold by them in 1557. It comprised a tenement with shops, cellars, solars and other buildings. -
