Folio 748. Letter from Charles Wright, Clerk to the Guardians of the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Board, informing them that he is applying to Mr Longley [Henry Longley] for the plans of the alterations in the workhouse. He also informs them that the guardians have commenced proceedings for the removal of the store room from the chamber to the ground floor and accepted a tender from a builder to alter the present Waiting Room to a Finance Committee Room.
Annotated: 'Mr Longley's Clerk has just called at the office and taken away these plans.' 17 March 1870.
