Records in the possession of the executors of William Frederick Brogden were deposited at Lincolnshire Archives in 1952. Frederick Charles Brogden was Clerk of the Peace for Lincoln between 1907-1931, William Frederick Brogden was Clerk of the Peace between 1932-1952. In most cases the documents relate to the Lincoln City Quarter Sessions and Petty Sessions courts. The following later deposits of Lincoln City Quarter Sessions records have been incorporated into this collection: 4 May 1970 (Acc 70/39), 23 March 1971 (Acc 71/50), 6 April 1971 (Acc 71/56), 20 May 1971 (Acc 71/76), 24 March 1972 (Acc 72/40), 13 June 1972 (Acc 72/61), 15 June 1972 (Acc 72/63), 2 May 1974 (Acc 74/58), and 26 January 1976 (Acc 76/5).
