H/CC/1/1 - 205 These items were filed by the Town Clerk's Department as a series. The number originally allocated to each item appears in brackets after the description. Because the series had large gaps when it reached the Archives Department, the items have been re-numbered as there is little likelihood that the missing papers have survived.
H/CC/1/206 - 224 These files also formed part of a series and were numbered LEG/133 - LEG/202 with large gaps.
H/CC/1/225 - 280 These items were in no obvious order and have therefore been arranged chronologically.
