Wm. Cooke for £4. 16s. 8½d.: Excise on malt and cost of making malt - including 6 bushels of malt at 4s. 4d. per bushel, £1. 6s.; the cost per bushel varies between 4s. 4d. and 4s. 10d. in this bill. Paid for whiteing the cloth, 6s. 6d. The original bill was £15. 17s. 10d. and this was reduced by £9 due to Webb for annual rent; other reductions include the £1. 14s. 1½d. due to Webb on the balance of Lucas rent as in bill above.
