PARTIES:
1. Stephen Faichen of Wolvercot, Oxford, gent.
SUBJECT OF TRANSACTION:
(inter alia)
to wife Ann Faichen - 1's freehold estate at Barnard Gate near Ensham in tenure of Robert Wisdom and 1's freehold estate at Wolvercot and all other 1's freehold estate - for her life and after her d. 1. gives said freehold estate at Wolvercot to 1.'s nephew Stephen Faichen and his lawful heirs and to 1.'s executors 1.'s messuage or tenement mills and premises at Ensham in tenure of John Noaun - to permit 1.'s wife to receive the rents. etc. for her life and after her d. 1. devises the same estate among the children of bro. William Faichen except Stephen as tenants in common to nephew Stephen Faichen 1.'s freehold estate at Wolvercot "in which he now lives"
Legacy of £40 to 1.'s bro. William Faichen and 1.'s executors to invest but of 1.'s personal estate a sum sufficient to provide £40 p.a. interest and 1. bequeaths the interest to 1.'s said bro. William Faichen for his life and then the said principal or stock to the children of 1.'s bro. William Faichen to be equally divided except Stephen so bro. Samuel Faichen £50 and the legacy of £300 to be equally divided among the children of 1.'s bro. Samuel Faichen by his 1st wife to the 2 daus. of 1.'s sister £300 each and £100 to the son of 1.'s sister Mary to Henry Greentree and Sarah Batt bro. and sister of 1.'s wife £100 each. £900 to be equally divided among the children of Henry Greentree and Sarah Batt when they attain 21 yrs. to 1.'s servant Elizabeth Lines £30 and to 1.'s late servant Mark Bond £20 and to Thomas Eaton of City of Oxford, gent. 1.'s executor £50. to wife household furniture, linen, plate and china in 1.'s dwelling-house (except a silver tankard belonging to 1.'s late uncle a silver pint and 12 silver tea spoons which 1. gives to her absolutely) for her life and then to 1.'s nephew Stephen Faichen residue of real and personal estate to wife Ann appoints wife Ann Faichen, nephew Stephen Faichen and Thomas Eaton his executors.
