I should like to remind you that the 8,000lb thrust Sapphire is identical to the 7,500 lb thrust unit, except that it runs 300 rpm faster at maximum thrust conditions. We have completed over 600 hours of development testing on the 8,00 lb Sapphire, including a 150-hour development test at type test conditions, but because of compressor blade problems we have kept off certain critical speeds
