Description (What the record is about)
-
The following list, compiled by Richard Storey, Senior Project Officer, describes material presented to the Centre by the Company Secretary of B.S.A. in January 1974. As a selection from such records as were preserved following the takeover of B.S.A. by Nanganese Bronze Holdings Ltd., the material is of necessity sporadic in its coverage, but it includes a good series of financial papers, an inventory of machine tools, 1892-1905, and some useful material on the Company's development in the first two decades of this century.

Related material (A cross-reference to other related records)

It is supplemented by a deposit of B.S.A. material in Birmingham City Library (1969) and by a major deposit of Daimler records in Coventry City Record Office (1974).
