The present system suffers from a number of fundamental draw-backs: 1 RPM is not held constant for a given throttle setting under different conditions of altitude and forward speed. 2 The flow control is not sensitive to ambient temperature which results in throttle 'deadband.' 3 Both flow control and over-speed governors are sensitive to fuel density. 4 Jet pipe temperature control is not provided. 5 No provision is made for engine synchronisation. Performance curves are provided in this report
