Lease and release

i) Thomas Daniel, Hatch, Northill, farmer (surviving executor and trustee of Robert Askham)

ii) James Askham, Biggleswade, cordwainer John Askham, Hatch, labourer Abraham Askham, Girtford, Sandy, labourer (sons of Robert and Ann Askham) William Foxley, Hatch, labourer, and wife Elizabeth (late the wife of Joseph Wells, deceased, and before Elizabeth Askham, spinster) Thomas Tingey, Northill, labourer, and wife Ann (Elizabeth and Ann being the 2 surviving daughters of Robert and Ann Askham)

iii) George Pedley, Potton, gentleman (trustee for Abraham)

iv) Richard Bird, Beeston, Sandy, farmer cottage at Girtford, in occupation of Richard Barker, were sold in their lifetime by Robert and Ann Askham, to John Braybrook, Girtford, shopkeeper

Now in consideration of £210 paid to i) by Abraham Askham, with consent of ii), and 10s paid to i) by iii) and also 5s apiece paid to each of ii) by iii)

i) with consent of ii) and request of Abraham Askham, releases to iii), in his actual possession by virtue of a lease dated the previous day

- cottage and orchard in Girtford, Sandy, formerly in tenure of Henry Care, late of Sarah Care, his widow and now of Abraham Askham to use of Abraham Askham for life or to iii) in trust for him to prevent any wife of his to be entitled to dower out of said premises

Deeds etc in schedule relate to property of greater value sold by i) to iv) who will recieve the deeds and who now covenants to produce them if required Schedule

Deed to declare the uses of a fine, of 28 May 1772

Lease and release of 24 and 25 September 1775

Lease and release of 7 and 8 May 1777

Appointment of 13 May 1797

Will of Robert Askham of 13 May 1797
