The following list, describes minutes and other records of Cosesa deposited in the Modern Records Centre in March 1974. A file of the Cosesa Bulletin is also held by the Library. The structure of the Association is indicated below. The assistance of the Chairman of Cosesa, Mr P. D. Lishman, in compiling the notes below and facilitating the deposit is gratefully acknowledged.

COSESA (founded in 1943 as Courtaulds Monthly Staff Association; renamed Courtaulds' Group II Staff Association in May 1960; renamed COSESA in November 1971) :
Senior Staff Council (the Central Staff Council to Nov 1971): governing body.
Joint Group II Staff Advisory Council (Joint Monthly Staff Advisory Council to June 1960) : consultative committee of company and Association reps.
Group Committees : dealing with local matters.
Originally organised by numbered geographical areas.
Reorganised 1969 as Divisional Committees, based on production divisions.
Local or Site Committees : mainly established after the re-organisation of the Groups in 1969.
Sub-committees : for special topics; generally sub-committees of the Central/Senior Staff Council.
