Mainly from Tufton Beamish, Jul 1945 - Feb 1954, and nd (37 items)

Most are to his mother (and father), written either from the House of Commons, or on travels abroad. No 2 is a cutting recording the death in action of his brother Capt John Beamish, Sep 1945. Nos 3 & 4 were written on his visit to Austria, Feb 1947; no 9 is from Rome, Jan 1949; no 10 from Athens, Feb 1949; no 11 from Qatar; no 16 is a telegram from Queen Louise of Sweden expressing regrets at Admiral Beamish's death, May 1951; no 20 is from Istanbul, Sep 1951. Nos 25-37 are undated letters, etc
