Report prepared by C Payne. Approved by TG Smith. Piaggio built Viper Mk.540 T.0895 was returned to Motors Rolls-Royce (MRR) Brazil following a turbine rotor blade flacing wire failure after 902 hours TSN. Since no major changes had previously been made to this engine it was treated as the 1st 1000-hour life sample. The examination was carried out by MRR. The engine had previously been operated in the EMB.326G 'Xavante' aircraft from Asuncion in a light strike/trainer roll
