Maps consulted GSGS 4355 1:500,000 Berbera 1946; GSGS 3989 1:500,000 sheet 16 1941; GSGS 3927 1:250,000 Berbera 1935. Produced OS 1956 from DCS 39 1:125,000 Somaliland Protectorate enlarged photographically to 1:100,000 and East Africa Grid added. Published D Survey WO and AM 1957. Printed for D Survey (WO and AM) by OS 1957. 3,500/5/57. Grid East Africa Belt J. Sheet 1044C extended north into area of quadrangle 1044A for coastal area. [44°E–44°30'E, 10°N–10°40'N; adjoining sheets N 943B, 944 A, B, 1043B, D, 1044D.]
