Donor was born in Salford in 1932. Donor's grandfather, John Bundred, was born in 1858 and and was married three times. He had three sons, Thomas, Ewart, and Noel by his first wife, Annie Hughes and a daughter, Myfanwi from his second marriage to Elizabeth Pierce. Myfanwi was born in 1896 in Flintshire-she is the donor's mother. The family later moved to Pendlebury, Salford. Myfanwi worked as a dressmaker at Hatchard and Brown. She married Albert Jervis (donor's father) in 1921 and they had three children, Marjorie, Enid and John(donor) Ellen Maud Jervis (donor's paternal grandmother) had a tripe shop in Great Clowes St, Salford
