Letter of James McDonald, Deputy Worshipful Master, Union Lodge, No. 296 [SN 1294] meeting at Earl Howe's Fleet Inn, Bengal Street, Manchester to Robert Leslie, Grand Secretary, sending two Bank of England notes for three pounds and seven shillings to cover membership certificate costs for members of Derbyshire Lodge, No. 165, Buxton listed as James Myatt, Benjamin Myatt, Hugh Hartley, Francis Bramwell and Alexander Grant Carmichael, who require master master and Royal Arch certificates and Francis Bramwell and John Russell, who require master mason certificates. Signed by James McDonald, Deputy Worshipful Master, Nathaniel McKinzie, Senior Warden, John Dodds, Junior Warden and Christopher Connelly, Secretary of Union Lodge, No. 296 [SN 1294], Manchester.

Derbyshire Lodge was granted a warrant by the Antients' Grand Lodge on 12 November 1810 to meet as No. 165B. In 1810 the Lodge met at the King's Head Inn, Market Place, Buxton, Derbyshire. After the union between the Moderns' and the Antients' Grand Lodges in 1813 the Lodge met as No. 201. In 1832 the Lodge was renumbered to meet as No. 143. In 1842 the Lodge moved from Buxton to meet at the Crow and Harpur's Arms Inn, Market Square, Longnor, Staffordshire. The Lodge was renumbered to meet as No. 122 in 1863. The lodge was erased in 1866.
