Draft copy letter of William White, Grand Secretary, Freemasons' Hall, Moderns' Grand Lodge, London to the Country Stewards, namely R Cheesewright, King Street; Benjamin Fysh, Watford; Ingram Foster, 11 Clement's Lane; E Seward, Goswell Street; William Evans, Fleet Street; [Alexander] Sherriff, Church Street, St Ann's; William Skinner, Islington and G Allison, 23 Devonshire Street. White summons the members to a meeting at Freemasons' Hall on 13 June at 6pm in order to communicate to them the contents of a letter received from Admiral Sir Peter Parker concerning the annual Country Feast [Item AR/1146/10a]; List of names of Country Stewards, including Cheesewright; Itchin; Ingram Foster; E Seward; [John] Shallis; [Alexander] Shirreff; William Skinner and G Allison, who attended the meeting held by William White at Freemasons' Hall to hear the letter written by Admiral Sir Peter Parker [Item AR/1146/10b].

Country Steward's Lodge was granted a warrant by the Moderns' Grand Lodge on 25 July 1789 and met as No. 540 at the Guildhall Coffee House, Gresham Street, London. In 1790 the Lodge moved to the Freemasons' Tavern, Great Queen Street, London. The Lodge was renumbered as No. 449 in 1792. The Lodge made its last payment in 1799 and lapsed about 1802.
