Description

The district chapelry of Eastbourne St Saviour was created out of the parish of Eastbourne Holy Trinity on 3 August 1867 and in 1892 it was enlarged from an area of St John's. The church was founded by George Whelpton and built in 1867-68 to the design of G E Street.
