Acknowledgement by Thomas Betham stating that the mortgage made to him by Thomas Ferrers esq., of Sutton Coldfield of the Deer meadow in the tenure of John Witman in Baddesley for £150 plus interest was to secure a rent charge of £7 10s. from land in Clelbourn [?Ashbourne], co. Derby sold by Edward Ferrers father of the said Thomas.
