Deed to suffer a Recovery: George Whiston of Lyndon co. Rutland, gent., and John Whiston of London, bookseller, of the first part; Samuel Barker of Lynden, esq., Thomas Barker, only son of said Samuel, gent., of the second part; John Hurst of London, gent., of the third part; John Hand of Austin Friers, London, gent., of the fourth part: said George Whiston, John Whiston, Samuel Barker and Thomas Barker grant unto said John Hurst (i) the capital messuage in HAMBLETON, co. Rutland (ii) two other messuages (iii) lands, closes, meadows, pastures, etc., containing 206 acres, late the freehold estate of Sir Thomas Barker, bart., deceased (iv) messuages, lands, tenements etc., in HAMBLETON, late Sir Thomas Barker's deceased, subject of a lease and release made 2nd and 3rd February instant between Elizabeth Johnson of Withcotte, co. Leicester, Samuel Barker and Thomas Barker and George Whiston and John Whiston to hold the same for the purpose of suffering a recovery sued by said John Hand.
