Items relating to the families of Lee, Brentnall and McAllum. Thomas Lee was the manager of Messrs. Bolckow and Vaughan's mines at Eston. Thomas Brentnall was the 9th Mayor of Middlesbrough. The Brentnalls were well known in local music circles around Newcastle. Henry Brentnall was charged with building Middlesbrough docks. The McAllums were prominent Doctors based around Gateshead.
