Tramway from a junction with the existing tramway of the Northampton Street Tramways Co. in Abington Square, near the junction of Kettering Road and Wellingborough Road, in Northampton St Giles, along Wellingborough Road, terminating in that road in Abington near Abington Abbey.
Single track with passing places. Gauge 3 ft 6 in.
