Catalogue of Old Engines p. 302.

For Trevaskus Mine. According to the List of Engines made at Soho, the engine was stopped in Nov. 1784 and was sold to the North Downs Mines, who erected first at Wheal Rose, where it worked between Mar. 1786 and 1792, then at Halebeagle, where it worked until Dec. 1796, then at Wheal Briggan, where it was set to work in Dec. 1797. It was still at work at Wheal Briggan in May 1798. The engine does not appear in either John Southern's List of Books or the Drawing Office Index. The 1890s portfolio cover bore the number 4, which suggests that the drawings were placed with those of the Tingtang engine [see Portfolio 5/1288].

Published references: Dickinson & Jenkins p. 177, plate XLIV - sections of nozzles.
