By GEORGE CHAMP of Bedhampton, Southants, miller and ARTHUR PESCOD of Petersfield, gent. only brother and heir of Richard Pescod late of Harting, yeoman deceased who was devisee under the Will of John Pescod late of Ryfield in Harting, yeoman deceased, who was eldest son and heir of Nicholas Pescod late of Harting, yeoman deceased, by direction of OWEN MARDEN of Petersfield, butcher, to THOMAS BRADLEY senior of Petersfield, grazier and THOMAS SCARDEFEILD of Petersfield, glazier - for £600, part of £730 10 due to the said George Champ - of Mortgage of 19 October, 1734 (No. SAS-K/422) by Richard Pescod to the said George Champ of a messuage and premises in the Street of South Harting in trust for the said Owen Marden to wait on the freehold and inheritance of the premises, which he had purchased
