Administrative / biographical background

The Mount Street Jesuit Centre was started in 2005 by Fr David Smolira SJ to provide a wide range of courses and activities, underpinned by the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius Loyola, to help people grow in their faith and in their spiritual life. The programme included courses in theology, spirituality, Scripture, ethics and other topics relating to Christian life as well as volunteering projects to put faith into action. The Centre offered a variety of themes and regular Ignatian Days. In 2019 it became part of the London Jesuit Centre.
