Correspondence relating to the sale by Charles Wittman Benny of Winchester (as surviving trustee of the will of John Reasen) to Thomas Thomson, M.D., William Oakes Hunt and others, trustees of John Shakespear's deed of gift, of 'Barke's premises' (above, ff. 9, 12) adjoining the Birthplace, consisting of letters from Frederic Bowker, of Winchester, the vendor's solicitor, W.O. Hunt's draft replies, a letter of C.W. Benny, etc; 9 August - 26 September 1856, (ff. 125-137)
Included (ff. 127, 137) are certificates of the burial of John Reasen, at Winchester, 10 January 1830, and of Richard Saunders, at Warwick, 26 September 1842.
