Two 50 horse power side lever engines. Power increased to 60 horses 1844.Side view and plan of engines and boiler - partially coloured reverse drawing made in the London office; cross-section of the boat and engines, plan of the engine deck beams, longitudinal section of engine room and boiler, plan of the engines and boiler and sleepers - partially coloured reverse drawings made in the London office; feed and waste water pipes, emptying pipes and cocks for boiler - partially coloured original and partially coloured reverse drawings; plan of the coal boxes - partially coloured reverse drawing made in the London office; eccentric circle and rod and disengaging and reversing gear, paddle wheel, engine and paddle cranks, shafts and plummer blocks, working gear - coloured original and coloured reverse drawings. All of these drawings except the first 4 made in the London office bear letter codes.
Also the following later items: plan and sections of tubular boiler for 2 belted 60 horse cylinders - 2 sheets of partially coloured drawings May 1844 (1 made in the London office); coal boxes - partially coloured reverse drawing, Sep. 1844; plan of new arrangement of the engine room, longitudinal section of the altered engine room - partially coloured reverse drawings made in the London office, Sep. & Oct. 1844; plan and sections of tubular boiler - partially coloured original and partially coloured reverse drawings made in the London office, Mar. 1847; plan and sections of tubular boiler - partially coloured reverse drawing marked "Third boiler", made in the London office Aug. 1848; new paddle wheels and shafts - partially coloured original and reverse drawings and small tracing made in the London office, Dec. 1851; tracing of shaft made in the London office, May 1855.
