'To my great astonishment and indignation a man arrived here this morning saying he had come from Parkers to take possession of the things in the house under the bill of Sale. As I cannot believe you could have been guilty of such a dirty and dishonourable action especially after writing me yesterday and making no mention of any prepare for the money, I conclude that your agent Mr Kelly must have outstripped your wishes and acted in this disgraceful way on his own authority only. I shall therefore be obliged if you will at once order Messrs Parker to withdraw the man by telegram. I shall be down with you myself immediately this is done'.
