William Julian Hunt was commissioned temporary Second Lieutenant in
the Infantry on 18 February 1915 and served with the 112th Battalion.
Machine Gun Corps during the Great War on the Western Front from 2
March 1916. He was killed in action on 11 July 1916; he has no known grave
and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, France.;
