This accession falls into the following groups; deeds and papers of the Palmer family of Berkswell, from whom Pearman was descended on his mother's side; Mark Pearman's geneological notes, family trees and transcripts relating to the Palmer's of Berkswell, Warwickshire; the Palmer family of Olton, near Solihull, Warwickshire, a senior branch of the Palmer family and the Kirkam family of Temple Guiting, Gloucestershire, from whom Mark Pearman was descended on his mother's side; deeds, copies of exhibits in Chancery with scraps or parchment, probably relating to Mark Pearman's own solicitor's practice; a few letters and papers relating to E.W.W. Pearman the son and Helena Pearman, the daughter of Mark Pearman; November 1550 - September 1906.

Mark Pearman according to evidence in the accession practised as a solicitor in Coventry in the early nineteenth century. E.T. Pearman is recorded as practising as a solicitor at 12, Priory Row, Coventry, in Curtis and Beamish; Directory of Coventry 1874-5 and Helena Pearman is recorded in the Coventry directories as subsequently living at the above address from c 1893 to c 1932. Mark Pearman was a member of Coventry Borough Council during the mid nineteenth century [See The Council and Committee Minute Books for the period].
