Letter from Mr L.V. Fildes, Secretary to the Trustees to Mr Arthur Walkden, "Porto Novo", Nursery Road, Prestwich, Nr Manchester explaining why Certificate holders are required to sign a form agreeing that a Preferential Certificate is to be cancelled if the holder enters into employment or business without the previous consent in writing of the Trustees. Mr Fildes acknowledges that in Mr Walkden's case, whilst is may not apply, it is still necessary that the form is signed and returned and that this form will be sent annually.
