Gursharan Singh tour 1983

This file largely contains correspondence between members of the Indian Workers Association relating to the visit to Britain of the Punjabi dramatist Gursharan Singh and the Amritsar Natak Kala Kendar in the autumn of 1983. It also contains promotional flyers in English and Punjabi advertising some of the appearances by Gursharan Singh at venues organised by branches of the Indian Workers Association, including Coventry, Nuneaton and Nottingham, and a typescript programme, giving details of the dates and venues on the tour.

The file also includes correspondence between Indian Workers Association members and Hari P. Sharma of the Indian Peoples Association in North America relating to a possible visit to Canada and a copy of an interview with Hari Sharma on Asian Indian struggles in British Columbia, published in the 'South Asia Bulletin', Spring 1983
