Richard T. Seddon to Swire.
He is sorry no agreement can be come to, but as was shown at the last meeting, no composition was acceptable 'and you would listen to nothing but your own idea of what an arrangement should be'.
The present arrangement was made chiefly for Furley's benefit and with the direct consent of the Bishop. It would now be better to let the matter rest until after Furley's resignation.
