Printed letter, signed by Judge, written for inclusion in the front of the 1967 edition of Dorman Long Illustrated. The letter was written in an attempt to allay fear felt by some that the goodwill attached to the name of Dorman Long would be lost following the merger with South Durham Steel and Iron and Stewarts and Lloyds, Sheffield post-nationalisation.
