Description

Collection in 12 parts, including views in the Shan States and the Sino-Burmese Boundary Commission (c. 1935-36). Photo 19/4-5 are not present and were probably never received. Photo 19/12 is a collection of duplicate negatives of the prints, made from the original nitrate negatives, now destroyed. Frank Samuel Grose (1881-1941), North India Salt Revenue Department and Burma Frontier Service 1904-37; author: 'Tribes of the Shan States' (Mandalay, 1926).
