Part of highway called Blindhorse Lane from Three Wents near the public house called by the name of the Huntsman, to Penenden Heath, 160 rods [880 yards] long, to be stopped up as unnecessary.
Order: 4 March 1822 with plan (scale: 40 inches to mile), surveyed by T. Brown.
Endorsed: certificate of sale of old highway, same date receipt for purchase money, 11 April 1822.
Cuttings from Maidstone Journal and Kentish Advertiser, 5,12 & 19 March 1822, containing notice of the order.
Affidavits concerning service and publication of notices, 4 March & 13 April 1822.
Brief for Mr. Berens to move for the confirmation of the order at Quarter Sessions, Easter 1822.
