Edw. Ellist (from J. Mays in Fishmonger Alley, near Margetts Hill in Southwark) to Thos. Green (Crown Court, Gratious St, London) "On first day last I was publickly disturbed at the Bulb & Mouth by John Edge & the other I think was John Staploe that I was grieved in my soule & Jn. Haywood seem'd not pleased with me ... I was for my breathings & the exercise of my soul to God for which they were offended.
