J. & I. have been in Amsterdam about 2 weeks ago (? 8/2 ?) - she was not well, being big with child but was cured with "fisicks", & they left again last Saturday. - Business dealings with Joseph Hyam & Walter Newberry : concerned about securities; rice & "fright avana snuff" which is no right avana snuff but all made of bad stuff take care they don't sell you any such snuff ... " - Glad that Eccleston has been restored to seat in direction of affairs of E. India Co. Amsterdam
