Description

The lists are in Newton's handwriting, on paper and card, and detail the photographs taken on particular (given) dates. The written descriptions are often accompanied by sketch maps and drawings.

Items in quotation marks, "...." Swan, are Mr Newton's own notes.

The lists at the Record Office are tabulated, which may enable some of the contents to be identified more clearly.
