Description (What the record is about)
-
London Office. Letters to James Brown, Henry Wollaston Blake and William Langdon, from 1852. The letters are addressed to 18 London Street unless otherwise noted. The letters from this year appear to have had a different arrangement, in that letters from Soho and letters from external customers appear to have been separated. What survives here is correspondence from July to December from James Watt & Co. employees at Soho, and some transcripts and one original letter from the Mersey Iron & Steel Co. which were forwarded from Soho. The letters have also been numbered, and these numbers are given in brackets.
