Description

The Rennie reports consist of the reports of John Rennie (1761-1821) and his son, Sir John Rennie FRS (1794-1874). At present this list covers only the reports of John Rennie Snr. These consist of 12 report books numbered 1-12 covering the period from 1 March 1790 to 28 September 1821. These volumes and the reports within them are arranged in chronological order. There is also a General Report book which covers 16 February 1802 - 12 Oct 1811. This contains reports in no particular order. There are also report books relating to Rochester and Lancaster canals and London and East India docks.

The reports of Sir John Rennie, which have not been listed as yet, consist of 14 volumes covering the period from 9 January 1822 to 23 May 1850; each volume contains an index. There are also 7 letter books covering 13 Dec 1839 These are indexed by subject but not by recipient.
