Also comments on many of the tenants.
Widemarsh Moor Farm p.10 had the right of mowing a portion of the common-field meadow by the R.Lugg at Tupsley, 4 miles distant.
The portion changes every year.
P.22 Stone from quarries on Lower Lyde Court and Lower Lyde farms had been used for the canal bridges, St. Martins Church and was then being used by the Newport-Abergavenny Railway Co.
Tredunnock and Trelasdee farms both bought manure - bones and guano.
Trelasdee had a flock of large Cotswold sheep, sold to the Ironworks about Abergavenny - frequently weighing 30 lbs a quarter and more.
The tenant of Tretire has set up and maintained at his own cost a Bone Mill for his own use to the advantage of the farm.
