Gallantry Notes: Citation for MC (LG 4/10/1919): For marked courage and devotion to duty.During operations on 31 October and 1 November 1918 he was in command of four Vickers guns. By skilful handling he was able to place his guns in position covering gaps on the flank. He, personally, with his sergeant, rushed a post in a farm capturing six of the enemy. He displayed great gallantry and initiative throughout.;
